About this chapter

The Web Module publication tool of is an optional component of Tropes Zoom software: do not expect to find this module if you did not purchase it with the software.

The publication of the results obtained by the Tropes Zoom Web module is subject to special conditions of use described in the license agreement of the software.

Exporting results in HTML format

The Web Module is used to publish, in HTML format, the core results of Tropes analysis (e.g. the semantic classifications of the Scenario). To activate this function, use the [Tools][Export for the Web] menu of Tropes.

The [Parameters] tabsheet is used to control the options of content generation:

• You have to specify a specific output [Folder] and possibly [Create a sub-folder] to receive the results (choose a new folder on your hard drive, to avoid mixing Web pages so generated with your own files). We recommend avoiding the [My documents] folder for the output of the Web module.
  
  
• Three buttons enable to browse, edit or delete the files contained in the output folder
  
  
• The option [Generate short file names] enables the use of hypertext links relating to the current file (this is generally necessary if you wish to publish the results on Internet or on CD-ROM). In that case, the output files must be placed in the same tree structure as the documents analyzed. The software takes care to check the coherence of this option and will automatically propose a suitable location in case of error.
